National Rural Letter Carriers Association
The National Rural Letter Carriers' Association is employment assistance for Rural Carrier Associates (RCA) and Rural Free Delivery (RFD). It was founded in 1903 and is controlled by the Federal U.S. government. Letter carriers are the forefront to the public of the U.S. Mail. This is a demanding job, in that the carriers are pressured to progress more quickly, operate harder, and execute more responsibilities in a timely manner. They also supply consumer satisfaction and ensure unrelenting success. Rural mail carriers provide their own personal vehicles in which they are liable for the chief cost of gasoline and maintenance. Next time you see your mail carrier, be sure to thank him/her!
