In which U.S. presidential election did both candidates suffer from deuteranopia?

Answer:

Clinton vs. Dole

Deuteranopia is a form of color blindness, resulting in the inability to distinguish the colors red from green. This subtype of red-green color blindness is found in about 6% of the male population, and is considered to be the most common form of color blindness. Both Bill Clinton and Bob Dole both suffer from deuteranopia. During the 1996 presidential debates, the standard red and green signals on the television cameras were modified to a system using three lights so each candidate could tell when the camera was rolling.
