What did Coca-Cola originally contain?
John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in a drugstore in Columbus, Georgia, in 1885. It was used as a remedy for a variety of symptoms, including headaches, impotence and morphine addiction. Until 1903, it contained cocaine, an estimated nine milligrams per glass.
