What fast food chain gave you the option to "Supersize"?
The phrase was used by McDonald's restaurants to upsize their French fries and soft drinks to an extra-large size. McDonald's introduced the supersized option in 1992. An award-winning documentary called "Super Size Me" chronicled the deterioration of filmmaker Morgan Spurlock's health during a month-long experiment eating nothing but McDonald's food. The hamburger giant started phasing out its trademark Supersize fries and drinks in its U.S. restaurants in 2004, as part of an effort to simplify their menu and to offer healthier food choices.
