What is the Ishihara test designed to detect in a human?
An Ishihara test consists of a number of plates called Ishihara plates. Each Ishihara plate has multiple colored dots that display a number or a shape for the person with normal vision, and nothing clear for the person with color-blindness. The full test consists of 38 plates.
