What is the most common official state beverage?
Milk is by far the most popular choice. Although not every state has declared an official state beverage, the trend started in 1965, when Ohio chose tomato juice. Nineteen states have gone with milk, which often has to do with the importance of the dairy industry in those states. One state, Rhode Island, chose coffee milk instead. Other state beverages include orange juice, water, cranberry juice, and apple cider.
