Who is the only player from a losing team to be awarded Super Bowl MVP?

Answer:

CHUCK HOWLEY

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Chuck Howley was named the MVP of Super Bowl V despite losing to the Baltimore Colts. He is the only player on a losing team to receive the award. Howley played with the Cowboys for 165 games over thirteen seasons, in two NFL championship games and two Super Bowls. He was named most valuable player of Super Bowl V, after intercepting two passes and forcing a fumble in the Cowboys' 16-13 loss to the Colts, also making him the first defensive player and non-quarterback to receive the honor. To date, he is the only player from the losing team to win the award.
