Made for the moment you say "I knew that!"
Trivia.net is a home for good questions. Short quizzes, clear answers, and a little something learned every time, whether you play for thirty seconds or a whole evening.
What we believe
Curiosity beats competition
No leaderboards shouting at you, no clock running down. A quiz should feel like a good conversation, not an exam.
Every answer teaches something
Right or wrong, you get the explanation straight away, plus one extra fact worth keeping. That is the whole point.
Facts you can trust
Questions are written and checked by people, against reliable sources. When the world changes, so do our answers.
Open to everyone
Free to play, no account required, and built to work with a keyboard, a screen reader or a thumb on a bus.
How a quiz gets made
Every quiz starts as a theme, like the capitals of the world or the films of the 1990s. A writer drafts the questions and four plausible answers, then adds a short explanation and one extra fact. A second person checks each fact against a reliable source before it goes live. Readers can flag anything that looks off, and we fix it fast.
- 1Pick a themeSpecific enough to be interesting, broad enough to be fair.
- 2Write and explainFour answers, one explanation, one fact worth knowing.
- 3Check twiceA second pair of eyes and a reliable source for every answer.
- 4Keep it currentReaders flag, we review, answers stay right.
